Antispam settings on the HSphere control panel

HSphere Antispam settings

Issues regarding the spam filter and email control can be solved using the HSphere control panel. The HSphere control panel is a very powerful control panel and personally I find it more user friendly than other hosting control panels I have used.

A client or end user can enable/disable and modify the incoming spam mails from the "AntiSpam" feature of the mail settings in the HSphere control panel. He/she can use this feature to block spams by applying filters such as "Spam check level" , "Spam processing" and "MaxScore level".

However before applying these filters you need to make sure that you are not using too hard settings as you do not want legitimate mails to get blocked. You can use the following settings:

1) Spam check level: Normal or relaxed or as according to your discretion.
2) Spam processing: You can Mark As Spam by selecting the "Mark As Spam" option or delete the above selected spams by selecting the "Remove" option or can move to a desired email address by entering an email address in the "Move To" option.
3) MaxScore level: This parameter defines an additional spam check level. It is much stronger than that of the 'Spam check level' parameter. If an email is detected as "spam" on this level, it will be deleted irrespective of your choice for spam processing ("Mark As Spam" or "Move To"). This allows for more flexible configuring of your antispam system.
