{"id":186,"date":"2013-08-22T18:25:00","date_gmt":"2013-08-22T18:25:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/187@jodohost.com\/\/blog\/"},"modified":"2013-08-22T18:25:00","modified_gmt":"2013-08-22T18:25:00","slug":"setting-up-an-error-page-for-your-domain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.jodohost.com\/blog\/index.php\/2013\/08\/22\/setting-up-an-error-page-for-your-domain\/","title":{"rendered":"Setting up an Error page for your domain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There are times when you would like to set up a custom error page for any particular page or for a page which doesn&#8217;t exist, and the error page will redirect to the page which you want.<\/p>\n<p>We can use the H-Sphere control panel to set the error page. <\/p>\n<p>To configure Error Pages, follow the steps below:- <\/p>\n<p>Step 1: Login to your H-Sphere control panel.<br \/>Step 2: Go to Domain Settings > Web Options for the domain.<br \/>Step 3: Scroll down to find the Error option and then click the Add icon on its right.<br \/>Step 4: In the form that appears, enter the error document settings:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Error Document Code<\/strong>: Choose the one you need from the drop-down box.<\/p>\n<p>For example: the 404 Not Found message or URL: Any Message you want to display or the path to the page with the ERROR message. <br \/>Type: Specify if the text in the previous field must be treated as a URL (Redirect) or as a text message (Message).<\/p>\n<p>Step 5: After this, click on the Submit button at the bottom and you&#8217;re done with setting up an error page.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s it.
